Nursing Care: Specified Skilled Worker from Seychelles

For English-speaking learners in Seychelles, this page keeps the JLPT facts local and honest — the real test sittings near you, the real pass marks, and the real corridor rules.

The language requirement

The SSW (i) route requires passing the JFT-Basic or holding JLPT N4 or above. JLPT N5 alone does not satisfy it. Nursing Care additionally requires the separate Nursing Care Japanese Language Evaluation Test.

Honest framing

From April 2027 the Employment for Skill Development (ESD) Program replaces the Technical Intern Training Program, and the JLPT-N4-level requirement becomes standardised across the route — the language bar is becoming universal, not optional.
