JLPT N4 pass mark: 90/180

To pass N4 you need a total of at least 90 out of 180 AND every section at or above its minimum. Miss one section and the whole test fails.

Section minimums

Language Knowledge (Vocabulary/Grammar) · Reading — scored 0–120, minimum 38/120.
Listening — scored 0–60, minimum 19/60.
