JLPT N5 · Croatia
JLPT N5 preparation from Croatia
For Croatian-speaking learners in Croatia, this page keeps the JLPT facts local and honest — the real test sittings near you, the real pass marks, and the real corridor rules.
What N5 takes
N5 is scored out of 180. To pass you need BOTH a total of at least 80/180 AND every section at or above its minimum — Language Knowledge + Reading are scored together 0–120 (38 floor) and Listening 0–60 (19 floor). Miss one section and the whole test fails, whatever your total.
Readiness, not a predicted score
JLPT uses scaled (IRT) scoring we do not replicate, so we never invent an exact N5 score. Practise the tested sections and see raw performance plus a CLEAR / BORDERLINE / BELOW readiness read-out against the N5 floors — an estimate to guide study, never a prediction.
